" This is the first painting I drew. The Model was a son of 17 years older. I gave it the name Mars. " Mars Signify two issues- One is the continent, The other is a soldier-THE Deity OF WAR". - Fuyumi Soryo

I constantly respond that reading comic or humorous publications is another type of books when citizens ask me why. Manga for certain, has plenty of styles and thousands of collection. Anything you probably saw on the Movie includes the divine, souls, ghouls, and mental powers. Shinen, a word for males in Chinese, aims to appeal to younger boys by providing spectular journey in any special placing before launching, like its opposite sexual, Shojo. Consequently, why I recommend to all of my pals who ask a graphic guide or some comic to try out if it's their second period. Distinct demonstration but presented in the same manner. Yes, there is a style for fans of despair, regardless of whether they believe it or not. You got Fantasy with spectacular consider on wolves and miraculous and crazy.

Shojo is the Japanese word for girl, originally from the Chinese dialect. You will find many of them in any book store if you search hard enough. And if you haven't seen my reader status on this read, you know that I wouldn't use in pages and quotes if it wasn't that good. Well Mars is one of the special little pearls hiding among the endless piles of books on that genre. Now what does this has to do with Mars? Shojo mostly is romance but some also has fantastical and supernatural and other elements in it. Manga can be a good read as long as it offering you something to care about while flipping the page. Shojo unlike the other genres has far more vast series comparing to the others.

Therefore let me describe my purpose why this publication is sooooooo great with a little evaluation of Mars~

STORY:

Kira Aso is the common quiet child. She draws, cares for herself, and lives in her own tiny globe. Rei is ostensibly your cliched bad-boy you see in some cliché romantic works. But when she meets Rei Kashino, a child ridiculous and a bicycle sprinter, things start to change. Rei therefore accepts pretty well, as any man did, and the tale then proceeds. Her living is quite fine, nothing key. You'd probably be able to imagine where this is going, but hang on, I'll complete. Rei therefore asks him to unit for her after realizing that he isn't who he appears to be. She simply living her weeks by, alienating herself from everyone in her group, has no friends or partner, she only bring and goes back home to her mom.

Fairly straightforward, appropriate? Because that's how some tales function and others don't. Often you just need an quick narrative to go with. You immediately become invested. Something that is both more relatable and relatable, like Mars. We are introduce to Kira and Rei from the very starting, notice their live, their words and quickly slide to the tale. Their personal and professional lives are moreover a good way to explain why this comics is consequently fine. It's like you're watching one of your family's shampoo theatre or CW crisis show, and it's so great. I haven't meet someone like that in authentic living but oftentimes you become associates with the persons you'd least expected. Reading about Kira's initial fear of Rei sounded quite true to me.

Since we only have 200 pages you can't overcrowd the entire plot into one volume, so for now we get some little glances and cryptic messages floating around our main duo. It's not so clear but it is hinted there if you can read between the words. Appearing for an instance when we see Rei express some of his inner desire of dying, suicide and watch the whole world burn and Kira well, some sort of I think sexual abuse? It really makes the story even feel bigger in a way. I love when the story isn't shoving that at you, like there are leaving those small clues and hidden Easter Eggs to find out while reading. I honestly didn't expected for this manga to be so... dark. Like there's this never ending atmosphere that keeps looming above Kira and Rei.

Fuyumi Soryo, the publisher aka the mangaka did a fantastic job with this comics. Although you might think it's never a novel storyline series, I'd suggest the personas are more likely to end up being formulaic. WILL YOU BE SUPRISE, OMG.

CHARACTERS:

" In the 16 years I've been alive, I have never said. .". I want to have you act as a design for me. "..." Everything but striking".

Surprised, Kira Aso. She isn't boasting about her incredible talent for drawing, and she is like a delicate and shy girl that she simply didn't deliver herself to make friends with anyone. I generally find her sorts of figure to be the least intriguing leads in any shojo building. Yes, she does have some resemblance, but Kira's behavior is what sets her apart. They are generally regarded as this unique snow that you are supposed to protect and keep. She does never draws herself interest despite her fine appearances.

Today before you go to the comments area and claim, but Spira, it appears to me that Kira sounds like a Mary Sue figure. You can also view her frailty, which is her essence, despite the fact that she demonstrates some toughness. Kira develops throughout the account. I don't want to harm anyone, really like I said above, but to be honest, Kira and Rei are both very layered. Everything about her is simply unfathomable, and I can't explain it. NO. She is no a Mary Sue. She doesn't feel afraid to express her feelings, which took some time, but God forbid it was the way it was done. And she even stood up for herself.

" Thus, do I obtain naked?" My heart was racing because I believed you wanted a design for the nudist.

Rei Kashino, he is not what you'd think. Rather, he will be there to cheer you up when you need it, find ways to make you giggle, and act as a unit for Kira in our narrative. Once you get to understand him, he is clever, comfortable, and nurturing, yes, he smokes, he is rude, and he is uncouth. He didn't snuggle you like many other intimate hobbies do. Although he may seem like your standard poor child, I realize that he won't battle for your conflicts, especially Kira's.

He likewise enjoys engine driving, but God forbid, inquire his affable pal. There are some interpersonal issues as I can feel from the dialogue but I don't know, as I stated about Kira, someone is only... off. There are a few references and instances where you can tell something about the guy, but there isn't much to be understood between him and Kira. That's okay, but as I said, there are some instances where you can't tell what's wrong with him. Rei is a defiantly strange man.

Besides our maid leads, the supporting cast are also important to be mention, like Rei's friend, Tatsuya. He is a pretty good person and has a crush on Kira, but I have no idea how he can become friends with Rei. The other cast is excellent, but honestly, since this is just the first volume, it's not enough to make a first-time debut. It's one of those odd friendships that you got no idea how they can really be friends you know? However, you can see that Tatsuya also receive this, just like Kira did when it was created. When the characters and the plot are developing, I appreciate it.

" Is this what they mean by becoming" A Slave to Love? " I want to keep going forever, but I don't know what lies ahead."

Although I haven't touched on the romance, hot spicymatures it is obviously just beginning to develop. Friends with benefits? Lovers? That's what I like best about it. You can tell from the artwork and the dialog that both parties are drawn for one another but yet not labeling what they are. Like in volume one, it just started, and we will have to see for ourselves where this will lead. Are they merely friends? It's fresh, like real life romance.

DRAWING, WRITING, & PACING:

You can tell that Fuyumi Soryo did one of a hell of a job on this manga from my throughout explanation with this review, and the images I provided alongside the quotes. Like us, a watcher anticipating for the next volume to come. It all presented very well, from the way Kira and Rei interact, to Rei's hesitant reaction to Rei, to Rei's interest in Kira. It is just steady on your face, unlike many Shojo mangas I know of, but it isn't moving quickly. She took a cliché story and use it for her own idea. She created strong characters that are still developing, and she managed to create this beautiful plot with her writing and pacing that will keep surprising you with each page turn. Fuyumi Soryo is rolling with it because the pacing just knows where to work and where to lead.

As for her artwork, aka the big reason we are all here, my god, what is this? Look at this- She has this way to make the characters come to life, each expression is never the same, it always a new one you not expecting to see. Fuyumi biggest strength is through her more, serious and grimmer scenes, such as I mention before above, but also in her gentler moments and romantic ones. This is just marvelous. Her drawings, particularly the guys' photos, resembles a few other fine shojo animes I know. That's thus fantastic to see in a innovative comic. I usually relish fine art, and heaven her close-up heads are killing me.

THIS IS THE BEST ART PORN IN THE WORLD! OAO

OVERALL:

Thus, is Mars day well spent? There is plenty of area to protect, excellent painting, fine love, and plenty of room. There is plenty to study, hot spicymatures and if you're a complete beginner like me, you'll really like this set. When I can afford it, I'll get reading the following quantity, but in the interim, I received my replicate of Mars Vol 1. Mars has 16 quantities and was written times back. YES. Totally not. This is the one for you if you are a admirer of great shojo/romantic comics.
